FPC Annual Poultry Show - Morganton, NC - October 27, 2012

Those exhibiting get there early so they can get birds cooped in. Others start setting up to sell at dawn(7:30 ish). The exhibitors have to be all cooped in by 9, which is when the judging starts, and then those also selling venture out to set out their birds forsale. Anyone going to sell really should be setup and going by 9am.

The raffle and silent auction is 12:30-1. Most birds will be judged by then. Some folks pull their birds out of the show cages as soon as they are judged and can progress no further. After 1 more and more will go as the judging winds down. Judging should be complete around 2-3pm depending on the number of birds there.

I won't be as stressed out this time as I am not taking anything up with me. Just friends! Kimberly and probably Nicole, the ladies I was parked beside at Chickenstock. We do lots of chickeneering together!

Any word on how many birds the show has yet?

I will get final numbers tomorrow, but it was right at 900 yesterday morning. There were 80 silkies regitered at that time. Also there were 85 cornish. The cornish club is having there national meet at this show.

Wow, thats quiet a number of entries. Would have hoped for more largefowl but its still early in the season for them to be finished out. The Cornish #s look great. I look forward to seeing their National Meet!

Is there a way to find info on a exhibitor? we are interested in finding the exhibitor info on the New Hampshire exhibitors.

Thank you

RobertH

This was the first show we attended. We enjoyed it very much. Great job everyone.
