Decisions, decisions on who to bring to the show and I'm running out of time!

They take less space to raise, less food, and easier to work with. The bantams are really good for the kids in the Junior part of the show to get them interested in exhibiting. If you want to sell at a Show, Fleamarket, or other site away from your property you are required by NC law to have a Green Card(License to Sell Poultry in NC).
If you sell the bird from your property then you do not need the license. If you arrange the sell and then deliver off your property you also do not need the license.

REMEMBER you are applying for a license to sell chickens which is a Poultry/Ratite Dealer. That license is FREE. They run from July 1 through June 30 of each year. It takes less than a week to get the Green Card from the time you stick the Application in the mail.

I won't be selling, just asking for future reference

I just gave one a bath to see how she is going to dry out......She still has pin feathers
Right now I am thinking 4 birds for me.....my luck it will be zero by the time I am through sorting them out.
And I have NOTHING to transport to the show in......
