So sorry someone took advantage of you and sold you this bird. I also agree she is a frazzle. I don't believe better nutrition will help at all. Her genes cause this to happen.

I think she’s around 2-3 yrs old. Have had her about 8 months maybe. She came to me like this. I just didn’t realize what was happening. I Feed them 16% protein flock feed from Coastal. Treats of cantaloupe, apple, corn, mealworms! Scratch.

Can you get a hold of 22 percent protein feed like game feed and feed her that exclusively for a month or 2. Increased amount of protein will fix her feathers make them stronger. But you need to reconsider if you keep her with the rooster to have her wear the saddle apron or keep her in no contact of the rooster what so ever. Excessive feathers falling out can lead to infections. Please consider making the best choice for your hen.
