Hi all,
Ive just noticed strange wing feathers on my 4yo gold star hen. She just was treated for lice and didn’t have these then, but I don’t know if it got bent or what and now it’s looking strange! When I get up close, it looks like2 feathers are coming from the same spot (pore?). I dont think it seems painful for her but it surely is annoying her. Shes been acting a little down in the dumps since it appeared. My question is, should I cut it or will this hurt her? If tucked back in it pops out soon after.
Have you ever trimmed a chicken’s feathers?
