framing a lean-to or pitched roof coop questions

1. Should I use the 3 stud method for framing the corners?

2. How steep should the angle be for the roof? 30 degrees? more? less?

I've never built a coop before, so any tips would be appreciated.

I think we did a 21 degree angle on our coop and it is pretty steep. In fact I think we could have had a smaller angle. I was worried about the weight of snow on the roof but at 21 degrees that made us go from 6' in the back to 9' in the front.
