We are expats living in Burgundy, France now, learning the language and running 2 small businesses (wine making/Negociant & Etsy). We have chickens and ducks, including a pet duck, along with cats and a dog.

Looking to find others who live in France and may know a thing or two about best foods, treatments, etc. So far we have found what's available very limiting. I get Flavicon (for worms) brought over from the UK since we can't get it here, and can't find anything as good, but have just run out.

Our animals are free roaming in a large enclosed piece of land and have a mixed feed, oyster shells, and then forage for bugs etc. Their big treat that they love is Batavia lettuce. Yup, very specifically Batavia. And the chickens, particularly our Gertrude, love cheese, which they get as a treat now and then.
