We have a frank Reese's breeding trio but I think my cockerel is too docile to get the job done. I would like to have a few more boys to insure we get fertile eggs. Anyone selling any? We can also incubate eggs but prefer started birds. We love our boy but he is too nice and the girls don't view him as a boy;)

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Isn't this a breed bred at the Good Shepard Poultry Ranch? Have you tried going directly to them? http://www.goodshepherdpoultryranch.com

You might also try your state thread and chat with others in your area. Maybe someone nearby you knows where you can get more of these birds...https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you

Good luck and I hope you can find some of these birds soon!

We have contacted good shepherd with no response and have tried to locate breeders through the poultry press and APA directories we have picked up at various poultry shows we have participated in. A lot of people loved our birds but all said good luck finding more. Well alas that has been our problem. We kept hoping he would mature into himself breeding wise but after putting him w different breed we know he can. The girls I guess are more dominant. They are very docile w us!!!

Although I would prefer started birds, I will happily take fertile eggs to hatch ourselves.
