Oh yeah, I'd planned on making a guard for it, just haven't gotten to the hardware store yet.

This is Red (of course) one of my 2 "new" roo's

I need to get around to posting picks of my flock sometime.

I really like the roo. I love the white one in the back!

crikey how loud is your place with several roos???!!?!?

By the way in your bator if you are also going to hatch in there you need something to keep the chicks from getting the lightbulb and fan.

He's the one I'm having trouble with (the white one) I posted in chicken behaviors.
I may have to rehome him.

Not nearly as loud as you'd think.
At least not until a hawk flies near, they will certainly let you know about it!

I'm planning on making a guard out of hardware cloth as soon as I get by the hardware store.

Is that a Cuckoo Marans roo in the back right of your picture? I just hatched 3 Cuckoo Marans and 2 of them are little roos. I can't wait until they mature - from what I understand, they are very good natured.

I love your bator - I'm thinking of making something like it for a hatcher.
