Frankenstein Coop or 2 Coops?

I would like to give my girls more room in their coop, and I can possibly get ahold of a small one for free. What would most chickens like better? One big Frankenstein coop, or 2 coops in the run? For 3 birds.

Their current coop is 4’x4’ and idk the dimensions of the other one. It’s a tiny prefab so you can imagine it.

If they are one big happy flock they will probably all go into one coop even if you have two coops. I had multiple coops and they all crammed into one coop until I finally built a big one. Now they all go into the big coop all together with plenty of room. I still leave the smaller ones out, they like to play in them during the day, but at night they all go together in the big coop. So I would recommend one roomy coop that two smaller ones.
