Funny cause that's so unlike me! I'm usually the one telling my kids to take the day off, or go eat more ice cream.

Sounds like my mom - sometimes. Dad's the one always cracking the whip on us slackers.

So I went out to see why the chickens were fussing, which they all just wanted a snack. Everyone looked fine except for Emmy, who was missing a few tail feathers. Little did I know that she was molting, & there was more feathers in the chicken coop. I went to get the a snack for them, opened up the coop and almost screamed. Inside, there was so many of her feathers you could make a whole other chicken! Something about it just freaked me out, cause I spent five minutes outside the chicken coop going "Ew, gross, no, that's disgusting, ewww!" Over & over again. I don't know why it freaked me out, she wasn't attacked, plus I have two full gallon ziplock bags full of feathers from one of the chickens. Maybe I can get a picture later.

Only a few of mine like being hugged, but when they molt they become a little more distant... XD
