FREAKING OUT! help!!! PARASITES?! PICS INCLUDED! HELP!

IF it is some form of Lash, it shouldnt kill her. Lash has been known to happen in older chicken hens and sometimes in younger ones just starting to lay. It's usually just 1 egg sized rubbery thing and then never again.

hopefully it'll stop soon and thats all it was. but like i said, ive never heard of it in ducks but it doesnt seem impossible since they lay eggs too..and Pekins are known to lay multiple eggs a day sometimes.

Did it just start today?
Is she acting normal otherwise?
does her vent look normal?

If it doesnt stop soon i would probably get ahold of a vet thats good with ducks/birds. it is pretty strange.

Here are a couple pictures of Lash Eggs from chickens...

Aw, gross!!! Those are frickin weird!!! I really hope you find out what they are, whoa!! Is your hen acting okay?

They look like bloated chick peas or something.

Did it just start today? it started a few days ago except it was more liquidy! now its a ball
Is she acting normal otherwise? she isnt eating but is still foraging and drinking/swimming
does her vent look normal? it is a little dirty but thanks because shes overweight

LMAO

Being overweight can possibly cause some problems. My fat, 2yr old muscovy hen prolapsed for the first time Ever last week...i am figuring because shes a fatty & she lays big eggs anyway.

I would isolate her and ration her food so maybe she loses a little weight. It could be a weight thing, im just not sure but it doesnt hurt to try. i hate not keeping food in front of my birds but sometimes its better for them..pekins can get to be pretty big anyway, lol.

You're not a yapper Bleenie. Helpful Yes.

I tried googling and nothing. I've never had ducks either. So I guess I'm useless. Good luck stumbl...

Safe guard for 3 days will kill these. Beleive it or not this is a form of tape worm. Don't panic, safe guard is safe for 100 times more thier weight related dose.. 3 days and then in 10-14 days, repeat.. I would suggest you do your whole flock and your dog who I assume has been eatting rabbits and helped to spread these. If not you have wild rabbits that can get into where your birds are..
