Fred the cat and the silkies

This lot of silkie babies were raised in the inside brooder. My indoor cats LOVE the brooder and tend to sleep on and around it. Clearly it has taught the babies that kitties are no big deal. Fred the outdoor cat came to visit today and all the babies rushed the fence. Silly chickens!

Thanks! Fred the Cat loves to lay beside the pens and watch the chickens. He mainly just watches them. The only time he bothers them is when they clump up while out ranging. Then he just can't resist doing a little chicken bowling. He clearly knows he isn't supposed to as he looks really guilty when I yell at him, yet he does it anyway. Some of the LF will peck him when he gets too fresh.

The silkie babies have absolutely no fear of him.
