Would anyone be interested in a black silkie roo? I don't care for all the hard feathering in his tail. Has all 5 toes, nice crest, and beard. Purchased him from Amber Waves Show Silkies out in California. This is the picture of him this past summer. He's filled out alot more since then. More pics of him are on my website in the BBS Silkie album.

Plus I have a black/dark blue silkie youngster from SassySilkies. I'm pretty sure its a cockerel, everything is good on him but there is an extra toenail on both fifth toes. I also need to cut back on one of my PQ lavender silkie boys. Let me know if your interested and I can bring them to the show.

He looks horrible! Of course he decides to molt right before the show!

I was really wondering about the timing of the show. So many of my birds have started to molt and stopped laying. They look awful

I think I'm going to bring her anyway--at least the rest of her still looks ok--but of course, she'll probably go into full-blown molt tomorrow or something.

But I didn't really plan on showing this year. Next year I'll hatch early in the spring, so I have time to grow out nice young birds who probably won't be molting in the fall!

It's so nerveracking deciding whch birds to enter then they decide to molt!

Hey all

How will we know each other, I know silly question but I don't have a BYC shirt yet. I would also like to know if there is a BYC table. It would be fun to take lots of pics to post. I am very excited about meeting everyone as well.

I will bring a table and hang a banner on it that say, BYC... that way everyone will know who I am.. and we can congregate there. Bring a chair
