Awwww...thank you!

He's just about 5 months old, so he has some more filling out to do. I'm gonna stick him in my breeding pen for awhile and see what kind of babies he'll produce.

I am so bummed that I missed the photo shoot! I was there and showing in my first show! No pics, but here are my wins:

BV - Buff laced frizzle Polish bantam
BV - Buff laced smooth Polish bantam
RV - Tolbunt frizzle Polish large fowl
4th - WC black smooth Polish pullet bantam (She was so little next to the other entries bcs she was only about 2 1/2-3 months old! I didn't realize most people only showed the pullets very close to 6 months old. I am hoping she'll do better when she grows.

I met several of you at this show and hope to meet others at the Warrenton, Va show in two weeks. C U there!

I had the best time at the show!!!! : )

I got to see crunchie and baregretchen show their birds. I bought a sweet buff orpington roo from Tammy at majestic farms.

I had Alan Stanford and his daughter Alice help me pick out a couple silkies fom Donald Dobbs stock which I named Alan and Alice : )

Gretchen and Maria also helped me pick out silkies so they were named Gretchen and Maria !!!

I saw some awsome birds which put some of mine to shame. I loved watching Tracey with her little group of kids running around. Ms bear had the most awesome coop available for sale there- so talented.....

I bought a neat cage from broodys bordello- love it..............

OMG, chickygirl named a Silkie after me!

I can't say I was really helpful in picking any out, but it was fun to carry them around for awhile!

And speaking of Silkies, Tammy and Tracey...your Silkies are gorgeous! I try to pretend I'm not a Silkie person, but they are growing on me.

Msbear, I love that little coop your hubby made!! I don't think we've actually met in person yet, but I did chat with your husband for a few minutes (and got to peek at that itty bitty new cutie pie of yours).

Chickenlady, aren't those Tolbunts cool?? I've got a frizzle roo and a smooth hen and I just

them. They are super sweet, too. Gretchen had a really gorgeous frizzle hen next to that roo at the show.

I had a blast at the show. I'll be at Warrenton at the VPBA show in a couple of weeks, not sure if I'll be bringing any birds yet or not. Hopefully I'll meet a few more BYC folks!

And just so he doesn't feel left out, here's my little Dutch roo at the show last weekend:

Crunchie: you know you want some silkies. And everytime I walked past your Dutch roo (after I knew he was yours) he would pose for me by puffing up...too cute. See you in Warrenton.

Yea, just like Gretchen didn't care for the modern games......and what did she come back with?!!!.....lol.........

Crunchie, I cannot believe we have yet to cross paths. Maybe we'll have better luck in Warrenton.

I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for the cornish bantams

Hubby will shoot me if I bring any home... must get to scheming.
