free. 3 hens in Ohio

i live in dayton, ohio. i need someone that is able to drive here to take my girls.

i have three left. RIR, BO, and a SLW. all three are very tame.

only requirement is that they will be kept as pets- not food.

im moving back home to california tomorrow (wednesday) and DH is staying here. We arent able to keep the chickens because of a council ruling.

I would be forever indebted if someone could please help.

Truthfully ive never shipped adult birds,only chxs from Mcmurry.

Cheeks?? I thought you and DH were going to bring them down to Indiana? I understand gas prices...and all....we cant afford to make the trip either....too many car troubles. But, if ya want to bring them down...I would LOVE to add them to my flock.

USPS site says for info concerning mailing live animals, contact your local postmaster.

If you could ship them I think I could pay the shipping on one or two at least.

I already have RIR's and buff orps and would love to have more.
