I'd like him to hang around and hopefully he will and all will go well. He likes sitting on the roost in my chicken's run.

It also seems like his poop is MUCH smaller so that's a bonus!

Do they eat much? And is chicken feed ok for him?

They do not eat that much, chickens will eat and poop a lot more than peas. However, if he stays around and starts getting fed well, the poops will be bigger. Chicken or turkey feed is okay for them, but they should have a little more protein than that and you can take care of that by supplementing it with a little hard cat food each day, generally they love cat food. He can also be given all kinds of fruits and greens. Good luck with him!
