Hey, not sure if it's been posted here, but does anyone have Silkies?

I don't remember if it was this thread, but I have mentioned mine a few times. I have one I named Poof.

I guess Silkies are considered Bantams. Can you put them in with standard chickens?

You can, though there is a lot of controversy between the conditions. Silkies are Bantams.

Talked to my hubby tonight and we went out to the barn turned into chicken coop, soon to be more coops to discuss this further.

I think we're going to use our original coop and coop area to raise Bantams in. That way they're kept separate just in case they don't get along with the standard breeds. I can't wait until all of my coops and runs are built!!! My hubby is the best! In addition to working hard, he's building all of this for me. I think we are both chicken crazy now.
