Free chicken books

I'm sure this is old news to some of you, but I just found these. There are a ton of free books available on Google Books, here are some related to chickens. They are all old books (copyrights have expired) and so they are a good resource of how chickens were raised before electricity was a common convenience. Of course, you can find more recent books for sale there as well, including BYC's Raising Chickems for Dummies, but the link below are all free books.

Cool, thanks. I love old books. I only found out many of the answers I have been seeking in old books. Many new books are a joke, to put it politely. Some of these folks wouldn't know a dead duck from a chook! But they write books on poultry taking snips from here and there. So disappointing when you pick it up to read and hope to learn only to find it's some "entrepreneur" capitalizing on a "market trend". lol
