Free cockerel in need of a new home

We got 4 pullets in middle of April and one of them has turned out to be a cockerel instead. Sadly we cannot keep roosters where I live and need to find a good home for him. He is my favorite of the 4 and has a great disposition. We are unsure of breed as originally we were told he was an ameracuana and that is not true. He may be a welsummer. I am in the same situation. Ours is a buff orpington and our 10 year old daughter adores him. Not easy finding a good home where he will not be harmed by other rooster or slaughtered. Good luck with your boy.

I love roosters would love to have him but my herd already has a nice maren rooster
