Hey there, I'm in Lakes region of NH and looking for a friendly rooster for our lonely hen. We just lost 2 hens and a roo, and it's upsetting to watch her all alone, since she doesn't seem to care about being around the 10 ducks. Are any of your little roos still available

How did you lose your 2 hens and roo? Will it happen again to your new ones? I may have a roo however I wouldn't want to send him to his death!

We had an issue unfortunately, with a neighbor's dog that has since been fixed. The dog has been fenced/leashed ever since, and we've had our ducks and the chickens out free ranging for well over a year without issues. So now, this summer, we're in the process of building an enclosure and nicer hen/duck house, since our birds are free range and had never had issues in the past so we didn't have a big fence or anything initially.
