Well, I don't know. It could take a goodly while. I have this belief that most animals know what their name is SUPPOSED to be.

So these kids may have to go through all those names, calling the dog, and seeing what name he responds to.

And there were a LOT of names.

And he might come to more than one, not quite understanding, so they would have to go back over those.

This could take a LONG time.
