All very logical, Mail addresses are meant to be read backwards. If you mailed a postcard home the sorter would throw in in the usa bin, when it got to the US, someone would throw it in the bin going to the distribution center that services hannibal MO. sort by ZIP and eventually sorted for home delivery at 1234 main street apt A.
I have been emailing a person in Australia for years she lives in the "outback" near Melbourne (city)Victoria (state). They use several different date systems, as does the USA.

I wondered about the toilet thing too. I really did. So the first time I went to Australia I made sure to check. Their toilets didn't swirl at all! Their toilet water just goes straight down. I was so sad.

correct it does swirl the opposite direction due to being south of the equator...

Not only do our toilets not swirl, we have only one flush. Makes it real easy for any foreigners. In Australia I had to ask, "what are all these different buttons for." AND to make it worse, they aren't all the same. I never knew if I was pushing the right one.

There is also a Victoria right by Vancouver in British Columbia in Canada by sis lives there
