The troops were flyin out of the brooder but now they will be in good hands. I almost thought we might have to give this project up for the future, but now I think we will do it next year. The students love the entire process and learn alot..............about life.......

I guess after today I will not be here too much..........I have to wrap up school, do grades, send everyone off with there summer packets..........all that work stuff.

Nope, no vacations yet. I got laid off from my previous job and just started two weeks ago at my new one.

Wow, makes sense no vacation after only two weeks on the job. You must have been happy to find another gig. That is one thing about teaching, tenure can be helpful as long as it
is not abused. But I won't get started on the politics of teaching and teachers. I hope you have a fun summer with kiddos and the chickos and please know that you have brightened my last few days. Think of me next time you make homemade pizza for them.
