Free left over chicks from hatcheries?

Great read! There must be an excess of roos at the hatchery, since many order just females. This year I ordered st run Delawares and butchered the extra roos. What an absolute delight of a bird! NO MORE CORNISH CROSS FOR ME!

Stirtz is the one I was thinking of. Its been there since when we moved there in 1979. Really nice people use to own it. As a kid, i liked going in and getting the super small eggs
