Free-range chickens ate some dead bugs (sprayed with bug spray)!

Just a quick question all. We had a bunch of bugs by our door that we had sprayed with some bug spray and they all died. The chickens were out and about today doing their own thing and when we got home we saw they had eaten all the dead bugs. Will it harm the chickens? Will it change the eggs? There is probably not too much spray on the bugs but still I guess I'm just worried we harmed the chickens or the eggs. Any advice or ideas about that?

I really have no idea. how are they doing today? if they get sick make sure you have the stuff you sprayed on hand then you can call animal poison control and see what the fix would be if they do get ill from it. I would just watch them closely for a week to make sure. I would also avoid that happening in the future cause I have heard of chickens getting sick or dieing from pesticides or various sprays.
