Free range chickens

Hi, we have just got chickens and they are free range. They go outside most days, do they still need to be feed grit?

Hello!

My chickens free range and I don’t feed them grit. It’s up to you whether you decide to provide it for them or not. As long as they have access to small rocks in their area then they should be fine

Always free ranged and never used grit. Soil is sand mixed with various size pebbles and rocks.
