Free Range Chicks

Instead of letting them run loose, set up a covered puppy play pen, make sure they can't squeeze out the sides, but they still have grass, how old are yours? The benefits are building up a natural immunituly to the things in their environment, and get to eat greens all day. They are also happier, and overall, that makes them healthier.

They range from 2 weeks to 2 months. I am already letting them free range a little bit. I have them in a big pen made From pallets and fencing on top. I have just been opening the door and stay outside with them for as long as they want. Then when they all go into the pen I shut the door. Then I'll free range a little later in the day or the next day. I was just asking, because they seem more energetic and lively. So they will build up their immune system?

Pics? Yes it helps build immune systems.
