Free Range ducks in the winter

When l lived in Ma we got some pretty bad weather, my ducks preferred to be outside unless there was a build up of ice and snow. If they had trouble walking they always stayed in there house which was propped open during the day. You also have to watch out if it gets too icy they can slip and hurt there legs or cut a foot on the ice. It only happened once and we ended up with a duck in the tub for a week to keep her still while her leg healed. It was an adventure.
