Muscovies are able to fly, if they would fly away I don't know.

Yes, now mine don't but it's a risk if they are full flight the ducks are VERY capable fliers, my ladies clear the 5ft fence that surrounds the barn.

I keep mine full flight because i do free range, and i want them to have an escape, but like with all choices there are pros/cons and you have to weigh those for yourself.
