Free-range spaces

I'm wondering about free-range space and what makes for a "good" free-range yard. Here are pictures of my yard. I'm thinking there is enough natural cover. Our fences are only 4 feet tall, so that's a downside. What do you all think?

They will like it ... They will probably prefer the lower bushes and shrubs ... They provide good cover and hiding places!
