I want to raise some turkeys. I have a small pasture that is fenced with cattle fencing about 3 ft with barbed wire on top of that so altogether 4 ft. Do I need to change my fencing so they won't get out of my yard? I know they are good flyers, will they stick around? Are there things you can do to keep them from wanting to take off? Also, can you clip their wing feathers like a chicken so they can't fly as good? Are they pretty good about heading to the coop at night like the chickens? Thanks for any info!!!
