free ranging ducks, no pond on my place, three ponds nearby

So if I free range ducks on my place where there is no pond will the wander off to the nieghboors three cattle ponds? One can be seen from my house. I have a fenced in lot but it is livestock panels, should I start clipping chicken wire to the bottom now?

I'm curious about this too! I've got 2 ponds out back of our place that are the neighbors and we'll be having ducks free ranging as well (locked in at night).

well get a baby swimming pool for them!!!!!!!!! i have one that they love and i cover the outside with bark from pine trees and i drilled a drain hole in it too and put a rubber cork in it and it works!!!!!! lol
