Free Ranging Juvenile Chicks

I think we have dispatched most of the local predators and since the adults are getting stir crazy, I'd like to give them a couple hours free-range time in the yard sometimes.

Would the juveniles be OK, too ?

They've been with the adults for several weeks and are already coop trained.

You could always give it a try understanding that juveniles are always more susceptible to raptor attack.

Yes it totally fine they will stay with the flock or closer to the Coop..

they are out with the adults now having a great time.

Make certain they are getting into protected locations to roost. An owl will otherwise get you posting about mysterious losses at night, or other critters will.

My April brooder raised chicks are out with the flock every day, and doing fine. They stick closer to the coop than the older birds, which is a good thing. They haven't had any bad experiences yet (no predator attack!) but generally they are being pretty careful.
