We have a 13 week old golden laced polish chicken. We let all 7 of our chickens out during the day, but Violet (our golden laced polish) seems to get left behind as all the chickens wander around. She's not the smartest chicken in the coop and she cannot see well account of her head feathers. Is there anything we can do to get her feathers safely out of her eyes? I really don't know of what else we could do for her so she doesn't get herself lost.

I think polish tend to be at the bottom of the pecking order. They're not very smart and can't see very well. You could try trimming her head feathers or maybe putting it up with a hair tie? I think I saw someone doing that somewhere. I hope she finds her place.
