hi everyone
Our family are thinking of getting peafowl and have around 2 acres fenced with chickens, ducks and alpacas free ranging in there. They get put away into a coop at night ( not the alpacas). Would the peacocks go inside the coop with them? Would they get along with ducks and chickens and alpacas? Will they roost in trees? Can I hatch them in an incubator or under a broody hen? Would they wander off free ranging?
Sorry, a lot of questions.
Thanks :)

You can train them to go into a coop at night by only feeding them in the coop in the evening but when you miss one night they will end up on top of the coop or in the trees. You will also find that a fence will not keep them in, it would have to be covered.

I have a neighbor who left there property. Left the pea behind. He comes over to eat but will still go back at night. Is there anyway to get him to stay at my place.

Can you catch him?

Peafowl will fly over a fence. If you want to keep them you need an area covered with bird netting. If the free range without that you will likely have some expensive birds lost to predators. You also need a roosting area that will accommodate their tails.

I have found if you feed them daily, morning & evening, in the same spot they will stick around & not stray. We have 100 acres & we have about 40 peafowl. They all stick around the house where we feed them.
Also they roost in trees. Instinctively they want to be high above predators reach.
