Free ranging problem

[first time farmer]

I have 14 chickens that have a run. When i had 4 i could free range them but with 14 they were going into the neighbors yard. Is there any way i can keep them from going into my neighbors yard.

yes i would like to kn ow the same , my two roos keep a handel on my ywo adventorous hens ( lol i dont care if i cant spell) anyways they seem to keep a handel on them but they seem to drift off into nabours yard and what not...

You can't train them to stay in your yard. A barrier/fence is all you can do. They will go where they find food and fun, no matter what imaginary boundary they cross to get there.

Only way I know is to put up a fence.

Thats what i was thinking. So if i let them out while i watch them would that be ok if i could chase them away from my neighbors?

Well, sure, if you want to keep running after them. That will get old soon, I'd think. I have a hen who will travel quite a distance if she has the chance to get out so we perimeter fenced 2 of our over 5 acres to stop Dora the Explorer from going on expeditions and taking some friends with her. They'll be safer if you can put up a fence of some sort.
