I got a beautiful Rhode Island Red last week. I want to let her free range with the others but she is leaving my unfenced yard and the others are following! My original girls never did that. Now they go in the neighbors yard. They don't mind at all. I have a fairly busy road behind me that I'm so afraid they will get to. To get there they have to go through dense ivy, blackberry bushes and trees. Should I worry about them getting there? How far do chickens stray from home?
