FREE "special needs" layer hens have been taken

Ok, this is a sad...I have 5 hens (all 9 months old) who all have some type of issue. Therefore, for their own well being this winter, I have decided (after much Kleenex) to re-home them. These girls MUST go to a safe pet home and not for food.

Michelle, Id take the 2 Delaware that are laying.. with the 4 I have , its not enough eggs for even my family.. Let me know.. I'll come pick them up and they can go in with the new roo I picked up this morning.. LOL..

Your EE may actually have an inner ear infection. That often leads to dizziness and a tilted head. Good luck with her!

I have a couple special needs girls. I am more than happy to take any special needs of any sorts.

I had an EE bantam hen that had her neck completely bent over for at least a week. She just walked around with her beak literally an inch from the ground. I imagine that she pulled or stretched the muscles trying to fly up to the rafters (9') to roost. After a week or so she was fine. If I were closer I would love to have some of your girls!
