For free to a good home: Black Silkie Bantam Roo about 5 1/2 months old named Ivy, just started to crow at 5:30am & neighbors are not happy. We live in surburban New Jersey & must find him a good home where neighbors are not so close. (Please no stew pots, we've already had 2 offers to make him dinner.)
Very handsome black with blue cheeks. Mature pin feathers starting to come in. Hand raised, tolerant of our 2 dogs and small children. Healthy & responsible when watching over our 3 hens, leads them inside co-op when he hears "danger."
Willing to drive him a reasonable distance to a new home. We drive to PA, NY state & South/West Jersey on day trips and can bring him in a pet carrier to your home.
