Our poor chicken a few weeks ago, got her leg stuck, and our 15 year old son forgot to tell us for a few days. She has no obvious fractures or swelling but doesn't bear weight on the leg, with no movement below the elbow. She cannot survive with our setup but is temporaily segregated from the rest. She is pooping well and eating good. Her claw is cooler and seems to have poor circulation. She is otherwise quite happy, cooing and laying eggs everyday. She is very sweet and loving, and seems to enjoy being held and petted. If she wasn't talking all sweet and did not seem very happy, I would consider putting her down.
