I have 3 extra Welsummer roos that I got from mothergoose. About 4 months old. Let me know if you are interested!

I'm in central PA.

The 1st one is a little blurry but you get the idea.

Keep in mind that these are "teenagers" but they are really turning out nice.

just wondering how friendly they are. I realize that as they get older, it may change but my son is fairly new with chickens and I don't want him to have one that is going to attack him.He really likes Welsummers too. We are in Central PA also, near Lock Haven

Hello
From what I've heard about them they are supposed to be one of the more docile breeds. They are the only ones I have besides my 2 year old Cuckoo Marans(who was a bit fiesty his first year but seems a little better now - wouldn't recommend for a kid).

These guys don't show any aggression but you can't really tell when they're young.
You might want to ask on this site and see what people say about adult Welsummers that they have.

This is where I got them....

Thank you so much for our dear rooster, Cornflake. He is settling in just fine and has taken a liking to our Rhode Island Red pullet. Now we just need to find some Welsummer hens. I may even get brave and try to get some eggs to hatch.

You are very welcome. I love the name! Glad he's settling in well and has found a girl friend

Hatching eggs is fun. If I had more than one pullet(instead of all the extra roos

) I'd give you some.
