I love the finished product but I am just looking for an cleaner/easier way. I know raising chickens is not clean but man the poo factor on 39 of these things is overwhelming. I am not opposed to it taking 12 weeks for the colored rangers to grow out. we have an electric fence around the birds we have now and are letting them free range in that area through the day. What I would like to do is build an A frame coop on a corner of the property for night and let whatever birds we decide on free range through the day. that way you don't have as much of a poo problem. I may also stick to fewer birds. That may have been our biggest mistake.
