Freedom Rangers

I kept 2 freedom rangers from my spring flock just because they were so friendly so far they are laying an egg every other day. Was just wondering if anyone has done this and if so has had luck in keeping the FR for a year or so with no health issues?? And how was the laying??

I've got 3 pullets and 1 cockerel that are 6 months old; I had about twice as many 3 months ago. I found most of the dead ones on their backs, so am assuming flip.
