Freeloading chickens (31 weeks) , finally got our first egg!!

That is the best feeling to finally find that first egg! Congrats. My RIR's started laying for the first time a week before Christmas at 6 months old so when they are ready I do not think the weather has that much to do with it.

I have been doing the pepper thing about four days now so I hope I get some eggs soon . And I have a talk with them every day !! I AM SOOOOOO PROUD YOURS ARE NOT FREE LOADING ANYMORE LOL!!!!!
