I need to freeze somwhere in the region of 15 tons of squash. At least, that's how it feels. I want to freeze it in slices to use in quiche throughout the year, as DH is addicted to it. Do I have to blanch? Or can I just lay the slices out on a freezer tray and then pop into Ziploc baggies? I hate blanching and I don't want them to go soggy in the boiling water....
