I have a hen that allows my other girls to pluck her feathers between her vent and tail. I'm pretty sure that the main offender is a hen that passed away last week, so I'm hoping the feathers will grow back in. We've had extremely warm weather for this time of year, but we're expecting a drop below freezing tomorrow and Monday. What can I do for her? I can't run heat out there. I have 2x4s wide end up for roosts so I'm hoping that when she hunkers down that area is against the board instead of exposed. The henhouse isn't drafty at all, but well ventilated. #sendhelp What can I do?
