I live in East Texas

Temperatures will drop to 22. Wind speed is pretty much 0.

They do not have wind protection.

Do I have to worry? Bring in the Bantams?

Chickens can do fine out in cold temperatures, but only if they can get out of the elements, you need to block the prevailing winds and make sure rain or snow doesn't blow on them, sounds like you have some work to do.

Hi!

As long as you have a few that can snuggle together in a dry draft free coop they should do just fine. Most breeds do quite well in very cold climates. I wouldn't worry.
