What ones are your favorite i am looking in Appleyards and Muscovy's. What ones are you geting?????

We have both currently and im 100% in love with muscovy because theyre extremely chill and they aren't noisy. Our appleyard is very loud and obnoxious at times. But our main muscovy let's us pet her and snuggle her as long as we have food lol the others don't dare come near me. Hoping when we hatch some, they'll be even friendlier

This site has been a great resource for myself as a backyard flock keeper, and my mom who started her homestead early in the year and seems on par with your plans (she's adding a cow next year, and maybe even emus). There are so many knowledgeable members who have walked the same path who would love to share their stories with you to help your dream become a reality.
