Can I feed my 12 week olds french fries with out salt?

I gave mine some fast food (yes they were deep fried and salted) french fries a few nights ago, they're still alive so it can't be too bad for them.

Only if you be sure to provide some ketchup -- no salt, yuck!

Seriously, there is very little in the way of kitchen scraps that isn't safe for chickens on a limited basis. I wouldn't feed them anything that has exotic artificial sweeteners or any raw meat that might be contaminated or spoiled, but other than that, can't think of much that wouldn't be safe in limited amounts.

They can have some, just not a ton.
