French frogs

Mixed results from the candling. The splash pen has high fertility again, which is perfect for you, but a lot of clears from the black pen. The first incubator goes into lockdown next Thursday, so I'll do a full candle then and see how many make it. 28 were set in that one, but it's looking like 8-10 aren't developing

I hope the black roo comes through! I'd like to have a hen that has his traits.

Never underestimate the power of the baby in poultry math.

I was discouraged from setting any eggs this early, as we can't move them outside for quite some time yet. So I have seven hatching, and though I have willing buyers, I don't have them up for sale. The first little one hatched, gave DH an endearing "are you my mother" call, and he said they can stay.
